Best RedM anticheat in 2026: why server owners choose Baobab AC
How to pick the best RedM anticheat in 2026: eight things to check before you pay, and how Baobab AC answers each one, limits included.
Every RedM anticheat calls itself the best. The word costs nothing to write and tells a server owner nothing. What is worth something in 2026 is a short list of things you can check yourself, before paying, on a panel you can open right now. Here are the eight we would check if we were on your side of the table, and how Baobab AC answers each one, including the places where it falls short. Yes, the vendor wrote this. Every claim below links to a page you can open and verify.
What changed for a RedM anticheat in 2026
Three things moved this year, and they decide what "best" means now.
Cheaters attack other players' sessions, not just the scoreboard. A crash attack does not win a fight, it ends everyone else's evening. On one server we protect, a single cheater took eight players down in 2.2 seconds. The full case is in crash attacks on RedM.
The serious cheats no longer live in Lua. An external injector that calls the game directly never touches the layer a resource can watch. What it cannot hide is its effect, so the verdict has to rest on what the server measures.
Ban evasion is cheap. A fresh Rockstar account costs little. An anticheat that only remembers a licence sees a brand new player every time.
An anticheat RedM servers can rely on in 2026 is judged on those three, not on the length of its detection list.
Eight things the best RedM anticheat has to get right
1. It is built for RedM, not ported from FiveM
RDR3 is not GTA V. Horses, fast travel, stagecoaches, trains and a different set of game functions all break assumptions a FiveM anticheat was built on: pointed at RedM, it fires on a fast travel and stays quiet on what actually matters. We wrote down the differences in RedM anticheat vs FiveM anticheat. Baobab AC only runs on RedM.
It also runs on any framework. Every detection except the economy one reads the game itself rather than framework events. VORP, RSG, QBR and RedEM:RP are recognised at boot for the economy and character checks, and anything else runs standalone with those checks off. VORP Core is our reference framework and the one our support targets first.
2. Your players install nothing
The resource runs on your server, next to your framework. Nothing goes on a player's machine: no launcher to support, no players turned away because they refuse a client. Installing it is one folder downloaded from the panel, with your key and server ID already inside. It updates itself, and a setting changed in the panel reaches the running server in seconds, without a restart and without disconnecting anyone.
The decision is made on the server for a simple reason: everything the client declares is written by a machine the cheater controls. Why that matters is explained in server-side vs client-side.
3. Every alert comes with proof
An alert that says "aimbot, high confidence" is an adjective. You cannot defend a ban with it, and the banned player knows it. In Baobab AC, every alert opens on a black box: the 45 seconds before the detection and the 20 after, the suspect plus everyone within 120 metres, their shots, hits and deaths on a timeline you can scrub. Two tracks sit on top of each other, the position the client claimed and the position the server observed. A cheat can rewrite the first, never the second.
Each finding shows the figure that triggered it next to the limit it crossed, for example an aim offset of 41.7° against a limit of 8°. The capture carries its own SHA-256 fingerprint, downloads as a file and shares through a link that expires. A player who contests a ban reads the same two numbers you do. You can open a full replay in the demo.
4. A wrong detection costs a line, not a kick
Zero false positives does not exist. A detector strict enough to catch everything eventually flags a stagecoach. What separates a good RedM anticheat from a dangerous one is what happens that day.
Baobab AC ships in observe: a doubtful detection becomes a line to review, not a sanction. You decide, detection by detection, which ones act on their own with an immediate kick or ban and which ones wait for a human. When you close an alert as a false positive, a nightly pass traces it back to its cause and corrects that cause, for example by authorising the legitimate event or lifting a ceiling that was too low, instead of switching the rule off. Anything that would widen what a cheater can do still waits for a human click. The method is in false positives.
5. It catches what actually hurts a RedM server
Baobab AC runs 41 detections in game, across movement, visibility, combat, health, entities, chat and system integrity. The ones owners ask about first:
Aimbot, silent aim and aim snap. Silent aim does not move the crosshair, it moves the bullet, so it is proven by putting the shooter's own account next to the victim's. See silent aim on RedM.
Godmode, heal and stamina hacks, teleport, noclip, speed and super jump.
Mod menus, recognised by what they do rather than by their name: a game function called by code no resource claims, a hidden server event triggered from outside, an economy trigger nobody earned. See RedM mod menus.
Crash attacks, stopped before the crash. Known crash models are refused at creation, and the list is shared: a model learned on one server protects every server running Baobab AC.
The whole catalogue is searchable on the features page, with the vocabulary you would use yourself: aimbot, mod menu, dupe, ban evasion.
6. A banned cheater does not come back for free
A hardware ban raises the cost of coming back, it does not close the door. So Baobab AC keeps the link graph: shared IP addresses, hardware tokens, Discord identity, known aliases. A returning ban evader shows up as a match on any one of them, and when your staff ban someone as a cheater, his linked accounts and the addresses he connected from are flagged too. The watchlist does the rest: the moment a flagged player connects, you get a notification, or an automatic kick if that is what you set.
7. Your staff will actually use the panel
Detection is half the job. The other half happens in a web panel at eleven at night, with a moderator who has never read the documentation. Baobab AC has 21 panel modules, built around that moderator:
an alert feed with the evidence inline, and player profiles with risk score, sessions, sanctions, alt network and real in-game wealth;
investigation cases that group several players, evidence and sanctions, and a live monitor to follow one player's shots and vitals in real time;
Discord notifications filtered per module and severity, and a Discord bot on Pro and Network;
staff roles built from a granular permission list, re-checked by the server on every action, and an audit log of who did what;
the whole panel in English, French, Russian, Spanish and Romanian, with every date in the reader's own timezone.
8. The price is public, and so is the demo
No "contact us for a quote". Starter is €19.99 a month, Pro €29.99, Network €99 for up to ten servers, and every plan is about 25% cheaper paid yearly. An extra server is €79 a year on any plan. There is no lifetime offer: the servers that analyse your players cost us every month, so a one-time price would eventually mean an anticheat nobody maintains. All of it is on the pricing page.
Before paying anything, open the demo panel. It needs no account, and it is the same panel your staff would use.
Baobab AC in the field
Claims are cheap, so here is a dated reading from one French-speaking roleplay server running Baobab AC, taken from the production database.
- unique players
- 4,269
- peak concurrent players
- 503 distinct accounts
- shots analysed
- 822,676
- alerts raised
- 4,029
- sanctions issued
- 546, txAdmin imports excluded
When Baobab AC is not the right choice
The best RedM anticheat for one server is the wrong one for another. Ours is probably not for you if:
you want bans on every signal from day one. Baobab AC starts in observe and asks you to arm enforcement detection by detection. That is slower on day one and much cheaper on day thirty.
you only need a chat filter and a weapon blacklist. A free script does that, and you would be paying for a black box you never open.
you expect it to see a native injector load. It does not. It sees what the injector does: the impossible shot, the damage the victim recorded, the position the server measured.
Two more limits we will not hide. The very first wave of a brand new crash model can get through: it is recorded, and that recording is what blocks the next one. And a cheater who buys a new Rockstar account is a new player for the game: the link graph makes him show up as a match, it does not stop him from buying. The full list is under "What we do not claim to do" on the features page.
Anticheat RedM 2026: the checklist
Whatever you end up choosing, ask every RedM anticheat on your shortlist these seven questions:
- 1
Does it run on my framework, and what stops working outside the vendor's reference one?
- 2
Do my players have to install anything?
- 3
Can I see the measurement behind an alert, and can the accused player see it too?
- 4
What happens the day a detection is wrong? A line to review, or a kick?
- 5
Does it stop a crash attack before the crash, or report it afterwards?
- 6
How does it recognise a ban evader who comes back on a new account?
- 7
Is the price public, and can I open the panel without talking to anyone?
If Baobab AC answers those better than the rest of your list, it is the best RedM anticheat for your server, and the installation guide takes you from download to first alert. If it does not, the checklist still works. For the principles underneath, start with how a RedM anticheat works, or see the whole stack on one page on our RedM anticheat home.
